From The Beatles to Lynnard Skynnard, from Jimi Hendrix to Rush. From The Ramones to The B-52's. We have played it all and we have liked it! We have been highly influenced by dozens of artists. Too many in fact to mention on here. So little time.. so little space. Ha! That is what makes Whizker Bizket such a bunch of diverse artists.. is that we are not stuck in any particulair style of music. That keeps us fresh and innovative... we write what we feel, no matter the style.

To achieve local and regional success. To have our first CD heard by as many influential people in the business as we can. To get a regional tour that is profitable for us. Lastly, to keep writing and writing and recording and recording.

Guitar, Bass and Drums. That's right people we are a 3-piece unit that plays together like a well-oiled machine. That is why we have been dubbed "Nebraska's Premier Powerhouse Trio"

Whizker Bizket was formed in the summer of 2004. They are one of the hard to find bands that still play the good-stuff from the 70's till the present, as well as their own original music. The Trio are professionals, and very experienced in the world of music and stage performance, just check out their bio's below!

Brian Barnhouse (Lead Vocals and Bass): Brian has played over 1200 nights of live shows in both the USA and Canada. Bands to include are CrossFyre, Fast4Ward, The Nebraska Band, Zipper, The Rayze, Mother Tung, Jane Doe, MidLife Crisis and now Whizker Bizket. Brian is an accomplished guitarist, bassist, songwriter and lyricist. Brian received an "Honorable Mention" in the 15th Annual Mid-Atlantic song contest, in the Rock category for his song "Solid Ground". He was also a finalist in the "Kick Start Your Career" contest sponsored by Motley Crue.

Brian's previous bands have opened for Jackyl, Quiet Riot, Kansas, Foghat, Jimmy Van Zandt, The Wolf (remnant of Steppenwolf) and many other regional and local bands.

Frank Clarke (Guitar and Vocals): Frank has played over 1000 nights live throughout the Midwest and Southwest USA with Squadron, Talon, Blastwagon, Escape, MidLife Crisis and now Whizker Bizket.

Frank's previous bands have opened for acts such as Z.Z. Top, Foghat, The Romantics and many other regional and local bands.

Frank's diverse style of guitar playing has made him a highly sought after guitar instructor in the southeast Nebraska area. His music influences include The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Randy Rhoades, Carlos Santana and Lynnard Skynnard.

Rick Buchanan (Percussion and Vocals): Rick has played over 1000 nights of live shows throughout the Midwest USA. Rick has performed with Ice Cold Fire, Outta the Blue, Blastwagon, Bandit, The Fundamentals, DownHome, Uncle MEAT, Rukus, MidLife Crisis, and now is the backbeat for Whizker Bizket.

Rick has been schooled in concert, classical, marching, jazz swing and rock drumming. His music influences include Buddy Rich, Phil Ehart, Neil Peart and way too many other artists to list.

Rick's bands have opened for and performed with Nazareth, Kansas, George Thorogood and The Destroyers, Steppenwolf, Marshall Tucker and many other regional and local bands.
