A.P. (by timstaump)

A.P.'s "Greenlight Project," had some creative moments, touching lyrics, and memorable beats. Track one started out with some jazzy brass, violins, and a deep thud in the bass. It worked really well at first, but as the song progressed, the words seemed to get swallowed up in the beats. There was just too much going on all at once. The pizzicato in the violins was a bit over baring throughout the song. Track two also had some great beats that really grabbed you from the beginning. The beat that got you wanting to dance was on track four.

It had the most catchy chorus in the whole album, and the beat went right along with the hook. Track five was the best song on the album by far! The message was impacting and the listener could feel that it came from the heart. It had all the elements to a great song. It was passionate, it had a hook, and it was relatible. Track nine also shared all of those elements, and the beat that was chosen for this song worked perfectly. What makes these songs that much better is that A.P.'s voice has an original timbre to it, and the listener can hear his love for this music in every song. Everyone who is a hip hop fan is encouraged to listen and learn from A.P's music.

On a more personal note, a little shout out to A.P. for his determined support for Staump.com. We thank you for your art and for sharing it with us on Staump.com!
