Bio

With a unique blend of rock, funk and reggae Lake Effect has created an unparalleled rock n’ roll sound. Night after night of explosive live performances has built the band a loyal following in their home state of Michigan. The bands road warrior mentality consistently wins over crowds throughout the state. Lake Effect was recently selected to participate in the Allbiz Entertainment Showcase, www.allbizeg.com in October 2007.

The band consists of five supremely creative musicians who bring their individual forms together to produce a sound of matchless originality. Singer/Guitarist Terrell Thompson fronts the band with impassioned vocals and an expressive lead guitar style. Thompson and guitarist Gary Cimmerer have crafted a two guitar attack that ranges from a tranquil interplay (Pay the Price, Hometown Bar Blues) to the stirring rock n’ roll crunch (BWSG, Conviction.) Mark LoDuca’s well-flavored organ and keyboard stylings give the band a full sound and compliment Thompson’s guitar and vocals immaculately (Preacher’s Daughter.) The foundation of the band lies in the hands of bassist Matt Dimambro and drummer Rob Evory. The rock solid playing of these two provides the funky bedrock on which Lake Effect was built.

The future is bright for Lake Effect and the band is primed and motivated to take the “next step.” The band is thankful to all the people, places and things that have helped them get where they are today and that will continue to help them every step of the way.
