Staump.com is an internet site dedicated to independent artists and their fans.
YES! Staump.com is 100% free.
The Internet is a vast place filled with information of all sorts. From the early days one of the biggest problems has been sorting through and filtering this information in a timely and accurate matter.
Fastforward to today, where any person's information is spread accross multiple sites: they have videos on YouTube, a blog on Wordpress, music on ReverbNation, status updates on identi.ca, shows on Last.fm, and more on numerous services throughout the web. And this is where we come in. Aggregation is the act of bringing all this online activity into one place, and what you get when you visualize it all together, usually sorted by time, is a Lifestream.
Staump.com's goal is to be an aggregation center-point. The place to go, as an artist, to interact directly with your fans over what you're up to at the moment. A place where they can keep up with your videos, blogs, shows, pictures, statuses, etc. without having to jump around to different sites. And as a fan of music, Staump.com is the place you go to keep up on all the stuff that's happening with your favorite independent artists. Where you can see that they've recently posted to Twitter, sent a Seesmic video reply, uploaded photos to Flickr and everything else in one place, and what's more, discuss it all right there with them!
Staump.com hopes to support as many services in possible to help you and your fans keep up to date on the ever-growing and ever-changing breadth of information that's out there about your band.
Currently, we support the following services, but we're adding more all the time!

Don't limit your description to a singular style! We at Staump.com know genre definitions are limiting. Instead, TAGS are what make your band easily searchable and sortable to the community. They are singular descriptive words that can be used to describe your musical style, instrumentation, mood, and/or lyrical direction. Tags are recomended to be descriptive in origin such as styles: "jazz", "metal", "rock", "hiphop"; or other descriptions like: "ambient", "spiritual", "psychedelic", "brutal", etc. Separate multiple tags with spaces.
No... You can upload unlimited amounts of music and photos.
As long as they are in accordance with the Terms of Service.
When you create your profile, there is a spot for a "band URL". Use this spot to create an easy to remember "nickname" for the artist/band to be found at Staump.com.
There is a link on your home page where you can copy this URL.
