Banner Advertisements

The standard banner ad on Staump.com is 728 pixels by 90 pixels (standard large size AdSense banner) or less. This ad runs on nearly all pages at the top center. Pricing for this advertisement is based on the number of page views (also known as impressions) that you wish to purchase.

Custom Advertisements

Our art department is also open to creating, for a small fee, custom advertisements to your specifications. You will have final approval of the completed ad.

$10 per ad, plus $30/hour for work

Any ads must be the proper size or smaller. We allow animated gif and flash ads as well, but please, no sound.

We reserve the right to refuse to advertise for anyone for any reason, mainly in the interest of keeping Staump.com as music-focused as possible.

If you think advertising through Staump.com is right for you, here's now to get started.

1. Determine how many impressions you are interested in. Each impression is one view of a page by a user of the site. As such, this means the ad could run for a day, a week or a month, depending on site usage and how many impressions are paid for. However long it runs for, the ad will be displayed on as many pages as impressions are purchased.
2. Contact Tim Staump (tim@staump.com) with your company information, the number of impressions you're interested in, a sample of the banner you'd like to display (or let us know if you'd like our art department to design one), and finally your Staump.com user name. We ask you to have an active Staump.com account to allow us to give you access to the advertisement campaign tracking system so you can keep an eye on your ads. Any page views while logged in to the Staump.com account you use to register the ad campaign will not count towards your impressions. You can also choose to run multiple banners during a single campaign.
3. After we have received your email, we will generate a contract for your ad campaign. It will contain all the information regarding your campaign, and a line for your signature. Please print this contract out, sign it in the necessary space, and fax it to the number you'll find on the contract. This signed contract is to protect both parties.
4. As soon as you have sent your contract, send payment for the amount indicated to our paypal address, staump@hotmail.com.
5. Once we have received your contract, payment, and the banner you wish to run, we will insert the banner into the rotation system. You will then also be able to access your advertising control panel through your Staump.com login for real-time statistics on your advertising campaign. You will be notified by email when your advertisement run has completed it's impression count.
